A Purple Wisteria Relationship.

Okay, so you wanna get close to a Longwood Purple Wisteria, huh? Here's the deal:

1. **Picking and planting it right**
    * Get a good one: When you're at the nursery, pick a plant that looks healthy, with good leaves and a strong stem.
    * Where to put it: Find a spot with lots of sun (at least six hours a day) so it can bloom. Make sure the soil drains well and isn't too poor.
    * Give it something to climb on: Wisteria grows like crazy, so you'll need a strong trellis, pergola, or something similar. Think about this 'cause you'll be looking at it for a while!

2. **Helping it grow**
    * Watering: Water it regularly when it's new, so the roots get established. Once it's settled, it's pretty tough, but water it deeply when it's dry to keep it lush.
    * Fertilizing: Don't overdo it, especially with stuff that has a lot of nitrogen. It'll grow leaves instead of flowers.
    * Pruning: This is key for flowers! Prune it twice a year - once in the summer to trim it up, and again in late winter to shape it and get more blooms. This helps keep it under control.

3. **Loving it and what it means**
    * Enjoy the beauty: 'Longwood Purple' has these awesome, fragrant, purple flowers that hang down. They bring butterflies and bees to your garden.
    * What it means: Wisteria is all about love, good luck, and living a long time. Let it...
